How we Operate

Starting first as an informal effort working with various non-profit organizations from across the USA, US Ambulances for Ukraine in 2024 incorporated and filed the paperwork necessary to become a stand-alone not-for-profit organization. Registered in the State of Illinois, we received our Federal Tax-Exempt status on July 15, 2024.

We continue to work with trusted partners in the USA and work with individuals, other NGOs and government entities in Ukraine that have a proven track record of success and accountability. Before any vehicle leaves the USA, we know exactly where it is going, and we most often personally hand the vehicle over to the receiving entity. We also document what we do with pictures and videos and as often as possible we receive photographic updates after the vehicles have been put into service.

Our efforts have been recognized by the Ukrainian government, including by the President of Ukraine as well as by many organizations and elected officials in the USA.

Our focus is on delivering quality used ambulances, fire engines and SUVs to Ukraine that have the ability to help first responders in their efforts to provide lifesaving services to those in need in Ukraine.
